Today’s Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

“My speech and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and power, so that your faith might not be based on men’s wisdom but on God’s power.

Sermon Main Idea: Faith in God comes from the power of God.

Prayer: Almighty Lord, Your power is unmatched. There is none like You. Thank You for the power You exhibited on the Cross for my sake, and the wondrous ways You continue to work in my life by Your Holy Spirit. I pray for the strength to follow Your Will, for I am in need of You for all things. As I serve You Lord, help me to rely on You more each day. Grow my dependence on You, Father, that Your glory would be made known in my life. In Jesus’ Name I pray, AMEN.
