Today’s Reading: Luke 3:1-6, 15-17

“…as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah: A voice of one crying out in the wilderness: “Prepare the way for the Lord; make His paths straight!

MAIN IDEA: PREPARE the way. Get OUT of the way. Let GOD have His way.

Prayer: Creator God, we thank You that You are in control of all things, and that You have also given us a way to be ready to know You each day. Please help us to prepare the way for You to reign in our hearts, and help us to get out of Your way so that You may have Your way in our lives. For Your ways are higher than our ways. Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. You are God, and we are Your people. We love You, Lord. In the precious Name of Christ Jesus we pray, AMEN.
