Today’s Reading: Acts 3:11-26

“Therefore repent and turn back, that your sins may be wiped out so that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and He may send Jesus, who has been appointed Messiah for you.

Acts 3:19-20

Sermon Main Idea: Point to Christ, point out sin, point people toward Him!

Come to our Sunday Outdoor Worship Service OR Listen to Rev. Solomona’s sermon from today’s 10AM Sunday Worship Livestream on our Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/ccmla. Reflect on the Text Notes and Life Notes below.

Text Notes: Peter points out Christ (v.12-13a, 16). Peter points out the people’s sin (v.13b-15, 17-18). Peter points the people toward repentance (v.19-26).

Life Note: We proclaim, God brings change.

– How does this life note impact the way we share the Gospel?

– What happens when we try to bring change through the way we proclaim?

– How does God continue to change us when we proclaim the Gospel?

Prayer: Sovereign Lord our God, You are the One Who transforms hearts and renews right spirits. Thank You for changing my life by Your Gospel Message. I pray that You would use my words and deeds to point to You, that others would receive the life-changing transformation that Your Word brings. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
