Do not be terrified by them, for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.
Deuteronomy 7:21
Come to our Sunday Worship Service OR Listen to Rev. Moegagogo Solomona’s sermon from today’s 10AM Sunday Worship Livestream on our Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/ccmla.
Reflect on the Sermon with us at our Life Group Zoom, Mondays at 7:30PM.
Sermon Main Idea: Though the battles before God’s people are great, God is greater.
Text Notes:
- Remember God’s saving power. (v.17-21)
- Since God defeated the great Kingdom of Egypt, God will defeat the small nations in Canaan.
- Trust God’s divine timing. (v.22-24)
- God’s timing is not only perfect, but it is also purposed.
- Be vigilant against unholy idols. (v.25-26)
- Israel must not fall prey to the trappings of idolatry in Canaan, lest they become like those God will defeat.
Life Note: No matter what, God is greater.
Prayer: Eternal God, thank You for Your Presence with me in the midst of my highest highs and lowest lows. Thank You for Your Grace and Mercy even in the midst of my trials. Thank You for working all things together for my good and the good of Your Purpose. Please grow me in trust in You. Help me to be obedient to You in all situations. Help me to be at peace with Your Way and Will for me. I pray all of these things in Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
