Today’s Reading: Hebrews 12:1-3

Therefore since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that lies before us

Hebrews 12:1

Come to our Sunday Worship Service OR Listen to Rev. Moegagogo Solomona’s sermon from today’s 10AM Sunday Worship Livestream on our Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/ccmla.

Reflect on the Sermon with us at our Life Group Zoom, Mondays at 7:30PM.

Sermon Main Idea: Look back at faith to move forward in faith to the One who has won our race for us.

Text Notes:

To run the race of faith, believers must:

  • Lay aside any hindrance and every sin. (v.1a)
  • Run with effort and endurance. (v.1b)
  • Stay focused on Jesus. (v.2-3)

Prayer: Father God, You are faithful and true. You have cared for Your Church throughout the ages. You have preserved Your people by the Work of Your Son on the Cross. You have done mighty things for which we give You eternal praise. Help us, O LORD, to run with diligence and passion the race that You have set before us, that as Your people we would glorify You and point to Your Son Jesus Christ. Help us to rejoice daily in all that You have done for us. We love You LORD, and pray these things in Jesus’ mighty Name, AMEN.
